Having taught in higher education since 1993, Tim Mousel is a full-time faculty member in the Kinesiology department at LSC-Online, serves as the Department Chair of Chemistry, Kinesiology, and Physics, and co-chair of the AI Task Force. He is on a one-year special assignment, working directly with the Lone Star College Chancellor's office in the Department of Strategic Innovation.
An award-winning educator, Tim has been honored with the 2022 Lone Star College-Online Faculty Excellence Award, the 2023 NISOD Excellence Award, and the 2023 Master Presenter - International Conference on Teaching and Leadership Excellence from the University of Texas.

As the inaugural AI and Online Engagement Faculty Fellow at Lone Star College–CyFair, Monica leads initiatives in AI literacy, curriculum design, and faculty training. She has authored AI-focused pedagogical materials and presented at regional and national conferences including NISOD, CAST, and ISTE. Her work helps faculty implement practical, student-centered strategies that promote innovation, engagement, and digital fluency.
Monica is a full-time professor of biology at Lone Star College - CyFair and a doctoral candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at TX A&M University. With substantial teaching experience spanning K-12 and higher education, Monica specializes in the integration of emerging technologies - such as artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality - into STEM and computational thinking curriculum.
